Guided Meditation in the Garden
Take some time for yourself and enjoy creating a space in your day to nourish both body and mind with a mindfulness based, guided meditation session in our garden space.
This session will be accessible to everyone, whether you are new to meditation and it’s your first time, or you wish to deepen your practice. Our Guided Meditation sessions are welcoming, relaxed, and non-judgemental.
During times of high anxiety and fear, sitting and taking this time out can bring some calm relaxation. Participants may be able to continue their day with more clarity and resolve.
Our friendly practitioners, Clunie and Florence, will lead you into a peaceful space from whatever has been happening in your day so far.
You will be guided through an approx 20 minute meditation in our new garden space at Crownpoint Community Garden. The type of meditation will vary from week to week, ranging from a relaxing body scan, a simple sitting sequence, a supportive visualisation, and more.
We will provide seats to sit down on amongst the flowers and garden beds. All that's required is listening to the meditation leader to help calm your breathing patterns and sink into the present moment.
The meditation will be followed by a totally optional chat- a time to share how you are feeling, ask any questions, or simply choose to stay silent.
The practitioner will have resources available to signpost you to should you need any additional support.
We will be following all appropriate social distancing rules and requirements in our garden space.
